OUTSIDE THE BOX Coaching
As a professional, working actor and director with over 25 years experience in the industry, Executive Producer/Artistic Director Jeremy Quinn enjoys teaching and coaching students from all over the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey and Connecticut) as well as L.A. & Florida and has helped to develop successful careers for many artists. Several of his students have appeared on Broadway, Off-Broadway, National Tours, been in feature films, episodic TV and commercials. Many of his younger students have gone on to study at such prestigious theatre schools as: Julliard, Yale, Carnegie-Mellon, Northwestern, Syracuse University, University of Miami, NYU, University of Michigan etc. Jeremy recently completed a year and a half agreement as the Artistic Director of Educational Theatre at Westchester Broadway Theatre, was an Adjunct Performing Arts Faculty member and Guest Director at SUNY Dutchess and a Guest Director for NYU's CAP 21 as well as St. John’s University in NYC.

A charismatic and hard-working instructor, his no-nonsense approach pushes all the right buttons and gives his students the desired results to successfully compete in the professional arena. Some have said that he has the "Midas Touch"; because after working with him as a director, teacher or coach, they find themselves landing the jobs they never thought possible. His approach to the acting process is a practical one based on the teachings of Stanislavski, Uta Hagen and Sanford Meisner with physical movement based on Alexander and voice & speech based on the techniques of Linklater. Master Classes or consultations are also available for your school, theatre, community organization or business.

Jeremy offers private, intensive sessions by the hour for students from beginners to experienced professionals. Sessions include primarily monologue and audition preparation; but also prep for musical auditions, TV & film castings, callbacks, university auditions and general career advice including headshots, resumes, agents, casting directors, stage-parenting and how to look out for pitfalls in “the biz” etc. If you are in a rehearsal situation and having a problem, bring your script and problem to Jeremy, he will solve it! A session can be whatever you want it to be and your needs can be discussed during the first meeting. Sessions are ongoing and as needed.
