OTB is as committed to arts education and proper training as it is to producing new works by emerging artists. We specialize in groundbreaking new work by playwrights from all across the country, giving them an outlet in New York to have their work showcased for the industry and the New York theatre community. Outside The Box also looks at the possibility of re-imagining quality, previously- produced material from a perspective and approach that ignites creative inspiration from everyone involved.
Our goal is to be original, as far "outside the box" as possible and have a strong message, spoken loud and clear through the voices of qualified theatre professionals. We strongly support the large and growing number of artists who want to create change within our society through the medium of live theatre.
